Aladino

Aladino cigars are made by JRE Tobacco Co., the Eiroa family's company in Honduras. The family grows its own tobacco in the Jamastran Valley and rolls the cigars at its own factory, Fábrica de Puros Aladino, which it describes as crop to shop.

Authentic Corojo and the Aladino Blends

The range is built around what the family calls Authentic Corojo, grown from original Cuban seed rather than a later hybrid. Julio Eiroa went back to growing the original variety in Honduras in the late 1990s, and it is the wrapper, binder and filler of the original Aladino Corojo. Other lines put a different wrapper over that Corojo core: Honduran-grown Cameroon, Honduran Habano, green Candela, Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade and Mexican San Andrés Maduro.
