Aladino Corojo cigars are made by JRE Tobacco Co., the Eiroa family's company, at Fábrica de Puros Aladino in Honduras. The line is a Honduran puro with Authentic Corojo wrapper, binder and filler, and it is medium in strength.
The Aladino Corojo Blend
This is the blend JRE Tobacco Co. was built on. The wrapper, binder and filler are all what the Eiroa family calls Authentic Corojo, grown from original Cuban seed rather than a later hybrid. Julio Eiroa went back to growing the original variety in Honduras in the late 1990s.
History and Production
The Corojo is the original Aladino line and a regular production cigar. The family grows the tobacco and rolls the cigars itself, which it describes as crop to shop. Most sizes come in boxes of 20; the Santi comes in boxes of 50 and the Patton in boxes of 10.
