Description
The ChiMolly Dynasty Robusto E is a Medium Robusto Extra measuring 6.0 × 52 from ChiMolly's Dynasty line. It pairs an Ecuadorian Corojo wrapper with a Mexican San Andrés binder and Dominican and Nicaraguan filler, and is made at Mi Havana Factory in Estelí, Nicaragua. Dynasty is the second blend ChiMolly released and the only one built on a San Andrés binder.
Ecuadorian Corojo Wrapper and Blend
The wrapper is Ecuadorian Corojo, set over a Mexican San Andrés binder and filler tobaccos from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. That makes four countries of tobacco in a cigar rolled in Nicaragua, and it is the San Andrés binder that separates Dynasty from the Nicaraguan-bound Pangu and Pioneer blends.
ChiMolly publishes the blend at country level only. Seed varieties, growing regions and priming levels of the binder and filler are not disclosed.
Robusto Extra Format at 6.0 × 52
The ChiMolly Dynasty Robusto E is 6.0 inches long with a 52 ring gauge, which works out to about 0.81 inches across. It is the longer of the two Dynasty sizes, a format many makers would call a toro.
The same blend is also rolled as the ChiMolly Dynasty Robusto at 5.0 × 50.
Medium Strength and Flavor Profile
TRP lists the ChiMolly Dynasty Robusto E as Medium in strength. Reviewers of the Dynasty blend report oak, earth, cream, sweet tobacco, mint and black pepper.
These are tasting observations from published reviews, not a manufacturer flavor sheet. ChiMolly's own description of its cigars centers on texture, in line with the slogan printed inside every box lid: "It's all about texture."
Dynasty Line History and Production
Dynasty is ChiMolly's second line, released in February 2025 after the debut Pangu. It wears a blue band and a navy lacquered box, and the company positioned it as the fuller blend of the two. Pioneer followed later the same year.
All ChiMolly cigars are made at Mi Havana Factory in Estelí, with blends credited to Zhuofeng Weng.
Who the ChiMolly Dynasty Robusto E Suits
At 6.0 × 52, this Robusto Extra suits smokers who want more time with the blend than the Robusto gives. Its Medium strength keeps it within reach of most regular smokers.
For coffee, consider espresso, French press, dark roast, Americano or macchiato. For spirits, rye whiskey, bourbon, añejo rum, Islay Scotch or añejo tequila are natural matches.
Keep the cigars in a maintained humidor rather than in the retail box if they will be stored for more than a few days.
