ChiMolly Cigars is a boutique brand that launched in 2024 with the stated aim of blending Chinese culture and art with premium cigars. ChiMolly Cigar Lines
Each ChiMolly line is built around a different wrapper leaf and wears its own band color, so the three are easy to tell apart on the shelf.
- ChiMolly Pangu: the red-band debut blend. Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, Nicaraguan binder, Dominican and Nicaraguan filler. Medium strength.
- ChiMolly Dynasty: the blue-band blend. Ecuadorian Corojo wrapper, Mexican San Andrés binder, Dominican and Nicaraguan filler. Medium to medium-full strength.
- ChiMolly Pioneer: the purple-band blend. Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, Nicaraguan binder, Dominican and Nicaraguan filler. Medium to medium-full strength.
Where ChiMolly Cigars Are Made
All three blends are rolled at the Mi Havana Factory in Estelí, the city at the center of Nicaragua's cigar industry. Every blend uses filler tobaccos from both the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. The lines differ in their wrappers and binders: Pangu and Pioneer use a Nicaraguan binder, while Dynasty uses a Mexican San Andrés binder.
Strength and Flavor Across the Lines
Pangu is the mildest of the three at medium strength, with notes of cedar, toasted bread, leather, pepper, citrus and baking spice. Dynasty runs medium to medium-full with red pepper, cedar, leather, earth, toasted oak and coffee. Pioneer also runs medium to medium-full and is the darkest in flavor, with dark chocolate, espresso, earth, molasses, cedar and black pepper.
ChiMolly Sizes and Packaging
Each line is made as a Robusto and a longer Robusto E. Pangu adds the PCA 2026 Double Corona at 7.0 × 52, the first double corona in the ChiMolly range. The Robusto and Robusto E sizes come in boxes of 20 and the Double Corona in boxes of 10. Every size is also sold as a single cigar and as a pack of 5.
ChiMolly History
ChiMolly debuted in 2024 with the Pangu blend. Dynasty went on sale in February 2025, and the Pioneer Series followed in April 2025 after being shown at the PCA Convention and Trade Show. The Pangu Double Corona began shipping after the 2026 PCA show. The bands on every line feature stylized Chinese characters, and the Pangu line takes its name from the creator figure of Chinese mythology.
