It is a Nicaraguan puro, with a Nicaraguan natural wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler, all aged five years before blending. It was made in 2006 for José O. Padrón's 80th birthday.

The Padron 1926 80th Anniversary Series Natural uses a sun-grown Nicaraguan natural wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan long-filler tobaccos, all grown and processed by Padrón. Padrón ages the tobacco for the 1926 Serie five years before blending and describes the result as smooth, complex, balanced and full-bodied in flavor.
The natural wrapper is the lighter of the two shades and shows the cedar, nut and cocoa side of the blend; the same size is also offered with a maduro wrapper.
