Description
The Fuente Fuente Opus X Society Gold & Bullet is a medium-full toro extra measuring 6.75 × 50 from Arturo Fuente's Opus X Society line, created with Manny Iriarte. It is made in the Dominican Republic, and the wrapper, binder and filler are all undisclosed. Each cigar is wrapped in a gold sleeve and packed in numbered boxes of 12.
Wrapper and Blend
The OpusX Society has not published the wrapper, binder or filler for Gold & Bullet. What has been said is that the blend is different from the first Opus X Society cigar, and Manny Iriarte has described it as a departure from that release. The cigars are made by Arturo Fuente in the Dominican Republic.
Format and Size
Gold & Bullet is a single-size release: a 6.75 × 50 toro extra. A 50 ring gauge is about 0.78 inches across. That makes it an inch and a half longer than the 5.25 × 50 Fuente The Opus X Society Cigar, with the same ring gauge.
Strength and Flavor Profile
Gold & Bullet is listed as medium-full in strength. Because the blend is undisclosed, The OpusX Society has not published tasting notes for it.
Line History and Production
The OpusX Society is a collaboration between Arturo Fuente and Manny Iriarte Enterprises. Gold & Bullet is its second cigar and the first release in a series called The Society Chronicles. It was shown at the 2025 PCA trade show in New Orleans and announced as a run of 1,500 numbered boxes for worldwide distribution, with a matching set of Gold & Bullet lighters and cutters released alongside it.
Buying Context
This is a cigar for collectors and for smokers who already know the Opus X range and want one of its rarer releases. At medium-full strength it sits well with espresso, a Cuban cortadito or dark roast coffee, and with aged rum, bourbon, cognac, single malt Scotch or añejo tequila. Keep the cigars in a humidor at stable humidity and temperature; the gold sleeve can stay on until you are ready to smoke.
