The Padron Sampler Natural puts eight Padrón cigars in one box, one of each, all with the Nicaraguan natural wrapper. The Padrón Sampler is the widest tour of the brand in one box, with three cigars each from the 1926 and 1964 lines and two from the everyday Thousand Series. Every cigar is made by the Padrón family in Estelí, Nicaragua.

Blend and Wrappers

Every cigar in the box is a Nicaraguan puro with a sun-grown Nicaraguan natural wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler, grown and aged by the Padrón family and rolled at their Tabacos Cubanica factory in Estelí. The box covers three Padrón lines aged for different lengths of time: the Thousand Series about two and a half years, the 1964 Anniversary Series four years and the 1926 Serie five years. All eight cigars are box-pressed.

Sizes in the Box

There are eight different sizes, from the 4.75 x 50 No. 6 robusto to the 6.75 x 54 No. 1 churchill, with two torpedoes (the 1964 Torpedo and the 6000), a belicoso and two toros.

Strength and Flavor

TRP lists the Padron Sampler Natural as medium to full in strength. The natural wrapper keeps the profile toward cocoa, cedar, coffee and roasted nuts, with black pepper and earth underneath.

The sampler is the simplest way to taste several Padrón sizes without buying full boxes, and it makes an easy gift for any Padrón fan. Smoke them side by side over a few evenings. Coffee pairings: Espresso, medium roast, cappuccino, Cuban coffee, cortado. Spirit pairings: Bourbon, aged rum, Cognac, rye whiskey, añejo tequila. The box is not a humidor, so keep the cigars at 65 to 70 percent humidity if you plan to hold them.
