The Padron Black PB-99 Maduro is a medium-to-full gordo measuring 6.75 x 60 from Padrón's Black line. It is a Nicaraguan puro, with a Nicaraguan maduro wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler, made at Padrón's own factory in Nicaragua and named for what would have been José O. Padrón's 99th birthday.

The Padron Black PB-99 Maduro uses a Nicaraguan maduro wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan long-filler tobaccos, all grown and processed by Padrón. Jorge Padrón has described the Black blend as sitting between the Serie 1926 and the Family Reserve, closer to the Family Reserve in fullness.
The maduro wrapper gives this version its darker, oilier look and the sweeter, roasted side of the profile; the same blend is also offered with the natural wrapper.

Padrón first showed the PB-99 in April 2025 and began shipping it to retailers in August 2025, in both natural and maduro wrappers. Unlike the PB-97, the PB-99 is regular production, so it is intended to remain available rather than being a single run. Padrón lists the format as a 6.75 x 60 gordo extra.
