Padron Sampler Maduro

The Padron Sampler Maduro puts eight Padrón cigars in one box, one of each, all with the Nicaraguan maduro wrapper. The Padrón Sampler is the widest tour of the brand in one box, with three cigars each from the 1926 and 1964 lines and two from the everyday Thousand Series. Every cigar is made by the Padrón family in Estelí, Nicaragua.

Blend and Wrappers

Every cigar in the box is a Nicaraguan puro with a sun-grown Nicaraguan maduro wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler, grown and aged by the Padrón family and rolled at their Tabacos Cubanica factory in Estelí. The box covers three Padrón lines aged for different lengths of time: the Thousand Series about two and a half years, the 1964 Anniversary Series four years and the 1926 Serie five years. All eight cigars are box-pressed.

Sizes in the Box

There are eight different sizes, from the 4.75 x 50 No. 6 robusto to the 6.75 x 54 No. 1 churchill, with two torpedoes (the 1964 Torpedo and the 6000), a belicoso and two toros.

Strength and Flavor

TRP lists the Padron Sampler Maduro as medium to full in strength. The maduro wrapper pushes the profile toward dark chocolate and espresso, with leather, earth and a molasses-like sweetness.
